If you are a senior aged 65 or older you can purchase a low-cost spay or neuter voucher IN PERSON on the first Thursday, Friday and Saturday of each month at 12:30pm for a fee of $25 for cats and $50 for dogs at Concho Valley PAWS inside the Judith and David Hirschfeld Adoption Center located at 3134 N US HWY 67. Limit one voucher per household per month. If a voucher holder become hostile or belligerent with a volunteer, PAWS staff or anyone at the participating clinic, they will be disqualified from future voucher purchases. PAWS is not responsible for those fees.Ĭoncho Valley PAWS reserves the right to deny services to any individual who does not conduct him or herself in an appropriate manner. Failure to keep the appointment or failure to pick the put up after the surgery as directed could result in the veterinary clinic charging additional cancellation or late fees to the voucher holder. Upon arrival for the appointment, simply present the voucher as you would a gift certificate to the front desk staff. Voucher holders are required to arrange for the spay or neuter appointment with the veterinarian of their choice form the list of participating vets. PAWS does not endorse nor guarantee the services of any veterinarian participating in the program and PAWS is not responsible for any illness, injury or death as a result of the surgery or medical treatment of the pet by the independent, licensed veterinarians. If it has not been vaccinated, the veterinarians may require the vaccination be given and charge you for that service. If your pet has been vaccinated against rabies, please bring verification. Vouchers may not be used for females in heat. Vouchers may not be duplicated and are only valid when imprinted with the Concho Valley PAWS corporate seal. The vouchers are only valid at the clinics listed on the document and Concho Valley PAWS will not be responsible for payment for spay or neuter surgeries scheduled with veterinarians NOT listed on the voucher. The vouchers are valid until the last day of the following month and may not be extended or exchanged. The vouchers are valid as issued and may not be transferred or sold. Any additional services or care such as bloodwork, vaccinations or flea and tick treatment will be at the cost of the voucher holder. These vouchers cover the cost of surgery. Concho Valley PAWS partners with participating vet clinics to offer the vouchers for a significantly reduced fee (see below for fee schedule). SNIP stands for Spay & Neuter Initiative Program and the purpose of the program is to provide low-cost spay and neuter services to pet owners that find the cost of such procedures prohibitive.

To offer more efficient and convenient services while keeping our volunteers, staff and customers safe, we are implementing changes to our low-cost spay and neuter voucher program (SNIP).
